We are currently carrying out measurements of the morphology of the oxbow lake bottom. It is another element in the preparation of the next stage of hydrological works to restore oxbow lakes to their original condition. The aim of the work is to determine the layer of silt that is necessary to remove the layer of silt deposited over the years. The end result will be obtaining optimal living conditions for the fauna and flora of the oxbow lakes.
