17 May To recreate the beauty of the Nida region. Radio eM visiting Umianowice.
A huge number of species of birds and fish, amphibians, beautiful landscape, lush nature – this is the area of the Nida delta in Umianowice . Thanks to the Life4delta project, the area will be enriched with new animals and plants, being not only a tourist but also an educational attraction.
It is a project of the Świętokrzyskie and Nadnidziańskie Landscape Parks Complex , and its aim is to restore the natural wealth of this area. Among others, the pond turtle and the thick shelled river mussel will return to the area . Polish horses and water reservoirs full of amazing animals have already appeared. In addition, a special Nature Education Center will soon be opened in Umianowice itself.
