We are restoring riparian forests along the Old Nida River

At the beginning of April, the planting of riparian species in the delta area began again. In an area of more than 2 hectares, project staff planted willows, white poplar, common spindle, guelder-rose, bird cherry, black currant and elderberry, among others. All 1,000-plus seedlings will contribute to the restoration of natural riparian forest populations along the bed of the Old Nida River.
