Visit of Guests from Water Management of River Valley

On January 23, representatives from the following countries came to the headquarters of the Life4Delta project in Umianowice with staff from the University of Agriculture in Cracow as part of the Water Management of River Valley: France, Italy, Nigeria, Colombia and Vietnam.

During their stay, our guests learned about the species of flora and fauna found in the Nida River. They saw the breeding of the thick shelled river mussel, the lesser ramshorn and the pond turtle. During the field session, they had the opportunity to see bodies of water created as habitats for the fire-bellied toad and crested newts.
