Workshops for Teachers

Workshops for Teachers

As part of the LIFE4DELTA project, we warmly invite teachers to participate in workshops held at the Nature Education Center in Umianowice on March 27–28, 2025, and May 23, 2025.

This event is dedicated to actively working teachers from primary schools (grades I–VIII), teaching the following subjects: nature, biology, geography, early childhood education, and preschool education. We invite up to four participants per educational institution located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

The goal of the workshops is to engage teachers in active nature conservation, enhance their professional qualifications, foster collaboration, and encourage participation in educational activities conducted by ZŚiNPK. It is also a great opportunity to expand knowledge and gain inspiration from non-formal education techniques for teaching nature topics to younger generations.

The event will include both indoor and field sessions featuring a variety of lectures, presentations, and hands-on workshops, all designed to broaden pedagogical perspectives and support the practical use of new knowledge in school settings.

Workshop topics include:

“Discover the world of pollinators and make a beeswax candle”

“Herbs and their healing properties – create your own tea blend”

“Field ornithological observations”

Participation is free of charge. Meals, accommodation (for the two-day workshop), and materials will be provided. Participants must cover their own travel expenses.

To register, please send the completed application form and consent for the use of image and personal data to: bbetkowska@pk.kielce.pl (the deadline is specified in the application form). A detailed agenda will be sent to confirmed participants.

Limited spots available – applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
