Spring!

Spring!

With each passing day, the Delta of the Nida River is bursting with more life! During our latest field observations, we had the opportunity to admire the mating rituals of gray toads, which have appeared in large numbers in the nearby water bodies.

On our way, we encountered a crested newt proudly displaying its vivid colors. At the edge of a small forest, we spotted a viviparous lizard basking in the first rays of the sun – its coloration blends perfectly with the surroundings.

Can you find it in the picture?

The Delta of Nida is truly a paradise for nature lovers!
