On April 26, 2023, on the occasion of “Earth Day” , a picnic of the Promotional Forest Complex “Swietokrzyska Forest” and the Complex of Swietokrzyskie and Nadnidziański Landscape Parks was held.
On the premises of the ZŚiNPK headquarters in Kielce, their stands were presented by: Kielce Forestry Commission, Daleszyce Forestry Commission, Lagow Forestry Commission, Skarżysko and Zagnańsk Forestry Commission, Suchedniów Forestry Commission, Recover Environment Foundation, Świętokrzyski National Park, Forest School Complex in Zagnańsko, Department of Nature and Climate of the Marshal’s Office of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship.Swietokrzyskie Voivodship, the Department of Health Promotion and Education of the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service, the Municipal Police Station, the Municipal Police Station in Kielce, the Leonardo Da Vinci Science Center, the Museum of the Kielce Village, the Museum of Toys and Plays and the Complex of Swietokrzyskie and Nadnidziański Landscape Parks in Kielce.
The Life4delta project team co-organized the event and presented the theme “Discover the world of plants and animals of the Nida River” to acquaint participants with the various plant and animal species residing in and around the Nida River. The festivities were attended by 10 schools from the Swietokrzyskie region, with a total of nearly 400 people. The picnic featured a variety of workshops and presentations that introduced participants to the world of conservation, forestry and ecology. Thanks to this event, residents of the Świętokrzyskie region were able to learn a lot about environmental protection, as well as enjoy numerous attractions
