European Funds Open Days at OEP Umianowice

The picnic was solemnly opened by ZŚiNPK director Tomasz Halatkiewicz. On the first day, the event was attended by Marshal of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship Andrzej Bętkowski, Board Member Marek Jońca, Director of the Investment and Development Department Jacek Sulek and his deputy Katarzyna Kowalewska, Director of the Marshal’s Office Anna Ciulęba, Director of the Nature and Climate Department Anna Picheta – Oleś, Pinczow District Councilman Jan Bębenek and Head of the Michalow Commune Boguslaw Kowalczyk.
On day two we were honored with the presence of Deputy Speaker Renata Janik and her family.
The event was very popular. Participants had the opportunity to learn or how to: test the purity of the water, compose their own herbal tea, build a nesting box for birds, learn about the fish living in the Nida, habits of the pond turtle, the secret life of bees,visit an enclosure with farm animals, sow a flower meadow or plant an avenue of willows. There was also a bonfire and tasty sausages
The Life4delta project team prepared part of the nature-educational workshops and was a co-organizer of the event.
