Last week, we kicked off our first educational workshops! Preschoolers and first graders from Kielce and Brzechów had the chance to discover the mysteries of the Nida Delta’s nature. Despite the winter weather, there were plenty of fascinating encounters and extraordinary discoveries!
The biggest excitement came from meeting the European pond turtle. The children learned where it spends the winter, what it likes to eat, and why its protection is so important. Seeing this unique reptile up close left the little ones in awe and wonder.
The ornithological segment also sparked a lot of interest. The kids got a closer look at native birds of prey, learned about their habits, and understood why they play such an important role in nature. The direct interaction with these majestic animals was an unforgettable experience!
