10 Jan We invite you to the 12th edition of Biologists’ Night
The Life4delta project staff would like to invite you to the 12th edition of the nationwide Night of Biologists event, which is organised by the Institute of Biology at UJK in Kielce on Friday 13 January 2023 starting at 5pm. This year’s theme will be “Water – the source of life – the present and the future”.
The European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) is the only representative of turtles living in Poland.
As part of the meeting, you will be able to see the animal and learn about its biology. Class participants will also learn about the preservation efforts carried out by the Life 4Delta project, thanks to which the pond turtle, which has lived for more than 100 years, will be able to survive in the area of the Nida delta.
