Sheep grazing is being restored in Antoniów

Sheep grazing in active nature conservation is intended to limit secondary succession, in other words to prevent valuable xerothermic grassland from becoming overgrown by self-seeded trees and shrubs. As part of the Life4delta project, we have reintroduced grazing of native sheep breeds such as the Polish Heath and Świniarka, among others. Grazing takes place just off the banks of the Nida River
