17 Aug VI Platform meeting of LIFE projects
18–19 July 2019 marked the VI Platform Meeting of LIFE projects, which took place in Janów Lubelski. It was organized by the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Lublin — the beneficiary of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000032 project “W zgodzie z naturą – LIFE+ dla Lasów Janowskich” (Eng. In harmony with nature — LIFE+ for the Janów Forests).
The meeting was as a platform for exchanging good practices and discussing the emerging difficulties associated with applying for funds for the implementation of the project, the implementation of LIFE projects, their accounting and maintaining the developed effects in the period of sustainability and ways to overcome the encountered problems.
It has become a tradition that these Meetings are a platform for the exchange of experiences in the tried-and-true Open Space formula, which makes it possible to adapt the topics of working groups to the current needs of beneficiaries and applicants. And this is what happened on the first day of the event. The second day was devoted to a review of the field part of the project, and interestingly, the Organizer provided the participants … with bicycles!
