Join the monitoring of white stork nests

SPRING is slowly getting upon us

This is the time when nature awakens to life after the winter numbness. At that time we can observe the first buds on the trees and the plants poking through the ground. Birds that had to leave us during the colder period are also returning. There are already reports that white storks are flying towards us and we may be able to observe them in a few days or weeks.

It will help novice “ornithologists” and nature lovers to observe these animals correctly. We encourage all age groups, individual observers or entire classes to get involved in monitoring white stork nests with the LIFE4DELTA team.

The information collected and sent by YOU in the future will help create a database of nests of this species (primarily in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship). The data obtained will also be used to better understand the needs of these birds and implement active measures such as nest maintenance. We will recognize and reward the most engaged users.
