On November 10, 2023, a preventive patrol took place in the LIFE project area. It was attended by Life4Delta project staff and a representative of the St. Hubert Hunting Club No. 2 in Pinczow.
During the field inspection, the area along the Umianowicka Smuga, the pond known as “Clover” and the created waterway at the so-called Turtle Island were inspected.
The meeting addressed the issues of another grazing area and the area immediately adjacent to it and their exclusion from the hunting club’s grounds. Also discussed was the problem of a large population of predators that could potentially threaten the pond turtle juveniles planned for reintroduction and how to reduce it.
