Ecological picnic “Together we create EKO Świętokrzyskie”

On September 18 this year, at the Nature Education Center in Umianowice, an ecological picnic “Together we create eco-Swiętokrzyskie” took place.

The event was organized by the Department of Environment and Waste Management of the Marshal’s Office of the Świętokrzyskie Province. The picnic was attended by more than 300 children from across our province. The LIFE4DELTA project staff prepared many activities for the participants at the nature booths.

The picnic was aimed at raising the environmental awareness of children and young people on the topics of: rational waste management and protection of the earth’s surface, protection of the atmosphere, protection of biodiversity, as well as conservation and sustainable management of water resources.
